Oct. 5th:  Park City Farmers’ Market at Canyons Village

Each Wednesday, Canyons Village at Park City will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors. We expect the Farmers’ Market to run from June 1, 2016 into mid-late October, depending on weather and the growing season.

Oct. 5th-9th:  Park City Dine About

This food extravaganza from Saturday, Oct. 1, to Sunday, Oct. 9, features affordable and delicious two-course lunches and three-course dinners from your favorite area restaurants.  The prices can’t be beat: just $10 or $15 per person for each lunch, and $20 or $40 per person for each dinner. No coupons, no punch cards, no strings attached — simply walk in, ask your server for a Dine About menu, and enjoy!

Oct. 6th-9th:  THRILLER – Egyptian Theatre

Enjoy this THRILLING dance and variety production with its ghoulish cast of characters, spooks, and zombies. It’s a gruesome dance of monsters and maniacs, creeps and clowns, at once mystifying, mesmerizing, and morbid. An annual tradition and always a sell-out!

*Use parental discretion, as some images and characters are more frightening than others!

Oct. 10th:  Firefall – Egyptian Theatre

From 1981 to 2016, Park City’s Egyptian Theatre has been entertaining and engaging our community through various forms of performance art. Join us to celebrate this special evening with locals, supporters, and enthusiasts and special musical guests Firefall.

The genealogy and musical roots of FIREFALL run deep into the fertile soil of American rock and folk rock music. It began with Woodie Guthrie and later, Bob Dylan, evolving into the Byrds and the Buffalo Springfield. The genre established by these luminaries continued with Crosby, Stills and Nash, Manassas, The Band, Neil Young, The Eagles, Poco, Loggins and Messina, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Gram Parsons and Emmy Lou Harris, Dan Fogelberg, America and FIREFALL. Many of these participants mingled in the studio and on tour. Individually and collectively they created a sound that changed the world’s musical landscape.

FIREFALL is one of the few surviving bands of this genre, remaining true to its founding vision and roots despite personnel changes over its 40+ year history. The band transcends and embraces many industrial labels- rock, soft rock, country rock, contemporary country, easy listening and Americana.

Enjoy your week!
