Mountain Accord & The Blue Print For The Future
Several proposals for the central Wasatch Mountains were just unveiled by the government agencies, ski resorts and conservation groups involved in the Mountain Accord process. Some of these proposals include: a tunnel or aerial
tram linking Brighton to Park City, a tunnel linking Alta and Brighton, a complete trail system linking the Wasatch front and back, express buses from Salt Lake City International Airport to Park City, maybe even a train down the line, and much more.
The public has an opportunity to voice their opinion on these proposals that were just released today on the website: mountainaccord.com.
You may submit comments on-line or at a meeting on Feb. 24th at the Eccles Center here in Park City at 6pm. If you support or are against some of the proposals this is the time to be heard! There are some exciting things on the horizon for the Wasatch Mountains and we encourage you to be a part of it.
