Park City Events | Aug. 29th-Sept. 4th, 2016

Aug 31st:  Park City Farmers’ Market at Canyons Village

Each Wednesday, Canyons Village at Park City will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors. We expect the Farmers’ Market to run from June 1, 2016 into mid-late October, depending on weather and the growing season.

Sept 2nd:  Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Festival

The world’s “Foremost Annual Sheepdog Trial” featuring highly trained Border Collies
September 2, 3, 4 & 5 at Soldier Hollow in Beautiful Heber Valley, Utah

Sept 3rd:  Big Stars, Bright Nights – Jewel

“A folk powerhouse,” according to NPR, Jewel comes to the stage with guitar, poetry and a pure – sometimes haunting – voice. The Grammy-winning, singer-songwriter, who fearlessly worked her way into stardom with the ’90s hit “Who Will Save Your Soul,” has released 12 studio albums, sold more than 27 million records, toured with Bob Dylan, performed for the Pope and starred in television roles. As The New York Times puts it, the Alaskan-born Jewel is “bursting with talents.”
“These shows – 12 bands in all – are a cross-section of the biggest names in music, young stars just hitting their stride as well as legends and performers who know how to entertain and push the limits of their respective genres,” says PCI executive director Teri Orr. “As always, we can’t imagine a better spot to present these big stars, than outdoors on the slopes of Deer Valley Resort.”

Sept 4th:  Park Silly Sunday Market

The Park Silly Sunday Market is an eco friendly, open-air market and street festival. It is a treasure box that features unique and eclectic-local and regional arts and crafts, music and performance art, antiques, imports and one-of-a-kind finds, delicious gourmet foods, and farmers market fruits and vegetables. It is as unique as it’s town is.

Enjoy your week!
