July 4th:  81st Annual Oakley Rodeo

The 81st annual Oakley PRCA Rodeo is scheduled for June 30, July 1, 2, and 4. Each show will be followed by fireworks. See website for full schedule of events, including parade on July 4.

July 4th:  Park City 4 of July Parade & Celebration

Come up to Park City’s Historic Main Street for our annual 4th of July Parade and a full day of activities. 7 AM – Pancake Breakfast at City Park 8 AM – Park City Ski Team 5k Fun Run. Call Cole Sport, 649.4806 11 AM – 12 PM Annual 4th of July Parade down Main Street – Pick your spot for viewing on Main Street or Park Avenue, as it’s a packed event each and every year! 12 PM – 4 PM – Food, live music, beer garden, vendors in City Park Park City Mountain Resort hosts the fireworks show at dusk, a concert and evening of fun! Parking/ Transportation The best option is to take the FREE City transit. Free parking available at the High School. You can view bus routes and schedules or download the real time bus tracker at ParkCity.org . Richardson Flats will be open as a carpool lot, so meet your friends there and get into one car. You can also ride your bike from Richardson Flats on the rail trail. Limited parking will be available in China Bridge. China Bridge Parking Access is from Deer Valley Drive and Marsac Avenue. Swede Alley will be for buses and parade floats only starting at 8 AM. until after the parade around 1 PM. Main Street and Park Ave will start closures for traffic at 8 AM, there is no parking on the streets after 6:00 AM For the fireworks show, concert and BBQ at Park City Mountain Resort – parking is limited. The best option is to Park at the High School, take transit, walk, or bike to the event.

July 6th:  Park City Farmers’ Market at Canyons Village

Each Wednesday, Canyons Village at Park City will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors. We expect the Farmers’ Market to run from June 1, 2016 into mid-late October, depending on weather and the growing season.

July 6th:  Deer Valley Wednesday Concert – Austin Wolfe Band

Best known for her recent acknowledgment as a Top 30 finalist in American Idol Season XIII, Austin’s band has opened for Five For Fighting and Bridgit Mendler and has an upcoming date with The Shadowboxers. Austin has performed with Brogan Kelby and Grammy nominated guitarist, Jeff Linsky. She won Best Showcase Award for her music video “One and Only” at the 2014 Miner’s Film Festival. In a collaboration with Mystique, she won the 2012 Adobe Aspire Award for original song “Big Feet.” Austin is open to new collaborations and opportunities. Deer Valley’s Gourmet Picnic Baskets and Bags are available for purchase. All orders must be placed and purchased by 5 p.m. the day prior to the event. July 7th:  Newpark Concert Series – Changing Lanes Experience

Changing Lanes Experience received their first opportunity to perform as a wedding band, and has then evolved to be featured on live TV with NBC, CBS, and Park City TV every year since 2013. Their immaculate taste in music arrangement gave them the opportunity to play with YouTube Star Alex Boye, which led to second round in SEASON X of America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2015. This young group of talent is educated in decades of music genre and has since then been invited to destination gala’s across the nation, music festivals, high profile corporate forums, and occasionally still finds time to fit in a host weddings. Changing Lanes’ work ethic is indescribable as they average 160-200 shows annually. Primarily due to their high energy and ability to keep classic songs like, “Papa was a Rolling Stone”, Purple Rain, and Play that Funky Music in the ears of the young people and the power to advance the old school lovers to songs like Dynamite and Shut Up and Dance. Changing Lanes Changes Lives!

July 7th-10th:  Park City Food and Wine Classic

Experience more than 100 food artisans, wineries, breweries, distilleries, epicurean purveyors, and locally-made products at this ultimate food and wine experience. The event is an excellent opportunity to Increase your knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits through a variety of expereinces from Farm to Fork Wine Dinners to Veuve & Vinyasa and SUP to Suds.
