We have incredible fall weather around town to start the week.  If you decide to take a break from your outdoor activities here are some events around town for you to enjoy:

Sept. 17th-20th:  The Producers – Egyptian Theatre

The Producers is a musical production adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks’ 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics written by Brooks and music composed by Brooks and arranged by Glen Kelly and Doug Besterman. As in the film, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. 

Sept. 17th:  Park City Farmers Market at Canyons Resort

Each Wednesday, into the fall, Canyons will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00pm – 6:00pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors. 

Sept. 19th:  Swaner EcoCenter Star Party 2014

Interested in astronomy? Join us as we celebrate and learn about deep space observation! Paul Ricketts and staff from the University of Utah South Physics Observatory will be instructing telescope use on the Swaner EcoCenter pier. Space is limited, please register to ensure your spot- swanerecocenter@usu.edu or 435-649-1767. 

Sept. 19th-21st:  Autumn Aloft Hot Air Balloon Festival

“Autumn Aloft was highly regarded within the worldwide balloon community,” says Mike Bauwens, Autumn Aloft Balloonmeister. “Pilots from around the world are hopeful to receive an invitation. Flying in Park City is a one-of-a-kind experience.”

More than 30 years ago, Park City resident Gene Moser and a group of local hot air balloon pilots set out to create the classiest Hot Air Balloon festival in the world. Their idea was to create a balloon festival that reflected the free-spirited, anything-goes exuberance of Park City; Autumn Aloft was the brainchild of these passionate balloonists.

Autumn Aloft is scheduled for September 19 – 21, 2014 in Park City, Utah. The event will take place at locations throughout Park City. 15 balloonists will be invited to the event.

Saturday, September 20
7:00 – 9:30 a.m. Main Launch at the North 40 Fields
8:00 – 9:30 p.m. Historic Park City Balloon Glow

Sunday, September 21
7:00 – 9:30 a.m. Main Launch at the North 40 Fields
