Located outside Compass Sports at the base of the popular Ruby and Empire ski lifts, the Montage Deer Valley Aprés Lounge is a must-stop for some on-slope quietude. Featuring Veuve Clicquot Champagnes and a special menu to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Madame Clicquot inventing Rosé d’assemblage the Après Lounge is introducing #RoseApres showcasing Clicquot’s Rosé labels paired with Tsar Nicoulai caviar.
The Aprés Lounge is a traditional nomadic Mongolian Yurt that has been elevated to ultimate chic featuring a warm fire stove, cozy lounges draped in wool and furs and friendly staff ready to offer you aprés luxury and a pair of slippers. Choose special Champagne pairings from Veuve Clicquot to match with Apex Executive Sous Chef Christian Ojeda’s unique culinary creations which include small bites such as a trio of black truffle, Korean chili-lime and butter sea salt popcorn, Tsar Nicoulai triple smoked sturgeon; Bourbon-molasses salmon rillettes; house made BBQ potato chips and local cheese and charcuterie.
Unfortunately, some things are too good to be true and the Aprés Lounge closes at the end of the Deer Valley Ski Season on April 8, 2018. Our recommendation; try the Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé Champagne, available by the bottle. Pairings are also available for Rosé NV with 1 oz Golden Reserve Tsar Nicoulai Caviar; Rosé 2008 with 1 oz Crown Jewel Tsar Nicoulai Caviar and La Grande Dame Rosé 2006 with Golden Reserve Tsar Nicoulai Caviar—which is also available separately with buckwheat blinis and traditional accoutrements.
