Park City Art

The lifts are closed here in Park City, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still find a few things to do around town.  Take a look below for this week’s Weekly Events in Park City, Utah :

April 25th – 28th – (Reefer Madness-The Musical! – Egyptian Theatre)

A Dark Horse Company Theatre Production A satirical toke on the 1936 public-service scare-film on the horrors of marijuana in our society. This deliriously silly musical is satirically based on the notorious 1936 anti-marijuana film meant to discourage pot-smoking in the day’s-youth. Poorly acted and poorly produced, the public-service film was quickly forgotten until rediscovered in the Library of Congress in 1971.

April 26th – (Park City Gallery Stroll)

On the last Friday of each month, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., members of the Park City Gallery Association offer a unique showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits and art events. The Gallery Stroll is a free community event that gives locals and Park City visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring Park City’s exciting art scene.

April 27th – (Earth Day celebration – Swaner Preserve)

Celebrate our beautiful planet with a fun afternoon at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter. We’ll have lots of activities and displays for the whole family. Scavenger hunts on the Swaner trails will get you outside and enjoying mother nature, information tables from organizations such as Recycle Utah and Utah State University Extension Sustainability will provide you with information on how to protect and conserve.

Enjoy the week!
