Weekly Events in Park City, Utah | Jan. 7th-13th

By

Hope everyone had a great week last week.  The sun has been out in Park City and the weather has been beautiful.  Park City was bustling for the holidays the past two weeks with lots of activities going on around town.  The thing I love about this town is even during our “slow weeks” there is still plenty of fun to be had.  Take a look below for this week’s Weekly Events in Park City, Utah:

January 9th – (PC MARC Wellness Lunch and Learn)

The PC MARC is hosting monthly wellness “lunch and learn” gatherings. Local community experts speak directly with you and answer questions. Small group format where you can learn more about nutrition, healthy sleep and eating habits, & more.  12pm-1pm (435) 615-5410.

January 10th – (Powder Champagne Ice Lounge)

For the winter season, Waldorf Astoria Park City will be featuring the Powder Champagne Ice Lounge. This outdoor lounge will include a 14 foot fully sculpted ice bar as well as sculpted furniture. In addition, there will be a separate heated zone for socializing. The Ice Lounge will primarily serve Champagne by the bottle and glass, while all specialty cocktails will be served inside at Powder’s main bar. Live music will take place in the Ice Lounge every Thursday evening!

January 11th-12th – (Shemekia Copeland-Egyptian Theatre)

Shemekia Copeland, a multi-award winning Blues singer, performs two-nights of explosive Blues at Park City’s historic Egyptian Theatre, Jan 11 &12 at 8pm. In addition to being named “Queen of the Blues” by proclamation of the City of Chicago, Copeland has recently been nominated for a Grammy for Best Blues Album 2012. Shows: Friday & Saturday, Jan 11-12, 2013 Tickets: $25 Advance/ $28 Door.

January 12th – (Anna Deavere Smith-Eccles Center)

Newsweek calls her “the most exciting individual in American theater.” When this MacArthur “Genius” takes to the stage for her extraordinary one woman show, she’s not afraid to spark a bit of social change. Her signature talent is a striking ability to transform herself into, well, anyone.  7:30pm-10:00pm.

Enjoy the week.

Think snow!
