Weekly Events in Park City, Utah | May 20th-26th

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to everyone.  Good timing by mother nature, the weather looks great around town this upcoming weekend.  Believe it or not we actually had close to a foot of snow in our mountains above 9,000 ft the past couple days.  Nothing like some mid May powder turns at Snowbird for a lucky few.  Take a look below for fun ideas this upcoming week with this week’s Weekly Events in Park City, Utah:

May 21st – (Midweek Mountain Bike Race Series)

This race series is a mountain bike event for racers of all abilities. Races range from beginner to pro for both women and men. There is also a free kids race for children up to age 12. Registration is at 5 p.m., the free kids race starts at 6 p.m. and the main event starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15 with a one-time race plate purchase of $5.00. May 24th – (Skate Jam)

This jam-format competition is a great event for skaters and spectators. All participants must wear helmets and a waiver must be signed by an adult in order to compete. Advanced registration taken at the PC MARC or EPIC Board Shop.

May 24th – (The Paint Mixers Large Canvas Workshops-Main Street)

Move to a new level of painting and enter the world of LARGE canvases! In this exciting hands-on, 3 consecutive weekly workshop (3 hour sessions – 9 hours total) you will learn how to transfer a small image into a large canvas. Everything you need to produce your masterpiece in a relaxed, friendly, supportive environment is provided: a 30″ x 40″ canvas, paints, brushes, palette and apron, and complementary music.
