Winter is creeping closer by the week in Park City.  Last week we saw high temps near 70 early in the week followed by snow above 8,500 ft later in the week.  Although the season continues to change, activities continue in our great town.  Check out below for this week’s installment of  Weekly events in Park City, Utah :

October 17th – (Park City Farmers’ Market)

Visit the Cabriolet parking lot at Canyons Resort for fresh local fruits and vegetables, baked goods and arts and crafts. The Market will take place from 12:00pm – 6:00pm

October 17th – (The Great Salt Lake – One Crazy Place)

Presented by Dr. Wayne Wurtsbaugh, Professor of Aquatic Ecology and Limnology at Utah State University.  Dr. Wurtsbaugh will cover the history, geology and bird life of Great Salt Lake, as well as explain some of the lake’s mysteries including the origins of its sometimes outlandish colors and the interesting critters that live in and around the lake. 7:00 pm

October 18th-27th – (Jekyll & Hyde @ The Egyptian Theatre)

After four thrilling, chilling years on Broadway and multiple world-wide tours, this dark and dangerous love story from Tony® and Grammy® Award nominee Frank Wildhorn comes to the Egyptian Theatre in a production by Dark Horse Company Theatre.

October 20th – (First Winter Blast @ Montage)

The Egyptian Theatre will host its 2nd annual First Winter Blast gala event to take place at Montage, Deer Valley.  It’s a lavish evening of seasonal celebration to welcome the season we love! Guests are encouraged to dress in winter-white or seasonal attire.  First Winter Blast is a winter kick-off celebration, intended to showcase Park City as the finest winter resort destination in North America. 5:30-11:30pm
