Events in Park City | March 30th – April 5th, 2014

What a week for some powder skiing!  Leave it to April to bring the snow.  Although ski season is winding down we still have plenty of fun events to do around town.  See below for a complete list of events in Park City:

April 3rd:  Garrison Keillor – Eccles Center

This beloved NPR host, creator of A Prairie Home Companion, author, humorist, and storyteller brings his unique and charming personality to the Eccles stage. Entertaining audiences with nothing more than his dry sense of humor, quick wit and baritone voice since 1969, Keillor, named “the jock of wholesomeness” by The Slate, brings his Midwestern sensibility to our Mountainwest town.

April 4th-6th:  Park City Film Series – The Best Offer

Geoffrey Rush is at his finest in this classy thriller. A solitary and introverted antiques dealer is asked by a mysterious young woman to handle the auctioning of some family works of art. Despite challenging inconveniences, the interactions with her become a life-changing game of chess, as he finds himself enveloped by a passion that will transform his carefully structured life forever.

April 4th-5th:  Park City Follies

The annual lampoon of all things lovingly considered “local”. Everything and everyone are fodder for foolery. It’s all in jest…a lighthearted poke of the stick at the soft underside of Park City politics, people, events, and developments! This year promises to be “An epic Follies”. Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm; Sunday 6pm

April 5th:  Park City Olympic & Paralympic Homecoming Parade

To honor the Olympians and Paralympians that live, train and coach in Park City, a Homecoming Parade and Celebration will be held on Park City’s historic Main Street, April 5th, from 1-5pm. Over 20 Olympians are expected to participate
