Events in Park City | May 19th – 26th, 2014

We have had some fantastic spring weather lately.  I hope you all have had a chance to get out for a hike or bike around town!  If you are coming into town this weekend for the holiday there are plenty of fun things to do.  See all the Events in Park City below:

May 23rd:  Opening weekend for Park City Mountain Resort

Memorial weeknd kicks off the summer season at Park City Mountain Resort. Thrill-seekers will seek out the Alpine Slide, one of the longest slides in the world, with over 3,000 feet of gliding and sliding down a luge-like track or glide through the aspen glades on the Alpine Coaster.  There’s something for every age and every ability.

May 23rd-25th:  Park City Film Series – The Grand Budapest Hotel

This is the much anticipated, colorful, and eccentric delight from the director of Moonrise Kingdom, Wes Anderson. It recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel, played with expert comic timing by Ralph Fiennes. 

May 24th-25th:  Colesport Bike Swap

Annual bike and SUP swap at Cole Sport 1615 Park Ave. Park City, UT 84060. $10 fee for each item sold. All proceeds go directly to Mountain Trails Foundation. Call 435-649-4806 for more details.

May 26th:  PCHS Memorial 5K

On Monday May 26th, Park City High School’s National Honor Society will host its annual PCHS Memorial 5K. All funds will benefit future humanitarian projects, PCHS seniors in need of financial assistance their freshman year of college, the Homeless Youth Center, and provide partial scholarships for those going to Haiti this summer!
