Concerts are starting to heat up and each day is getting a bit warmer here in Park City.  For all the great events in Park City this week see below:

June 17th:  Owl Prowl – Swaner EcoCenter

Join us for the ever-popular Owl Prowl to learn more about owls and which species can be found near your home! Dave Oleyar, Ph.D. and senior scientist with Hawkwatch International will give a presentation on owl biology and species common to the Wasatch. After his talk, the group will grab flashlights and head out to prowl for members of the local owl population.

June 18th:  Deer Valley Wednesday Night Concert – Afro Omega

Afro Omega was founded in 2003 by Bronté James following a vision he received at the Lee “Scratch” Perry concert at the Maritime Hall while living in the bay area in 1997. AO has been blessed to have traveled the U.S for the past ten years playing in front of thousands of souls from NYC to L.A. with an ever-growing global fan base.  Deer Valley Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater 6pm-8pm

June 18th:  Park City Farmers Market @ Canyons Resort

Each Wednesday, into the fall, Canyons will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00pm – 6:00pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors.

June 19th:  Newpark Thursday Night Concert – The Detonators

Newpark Amphitheater is located in the heart of Newpark Town Center and is surrounded by several restaurants, retail shops & the pristine Swaner Nature Preserve. These community concerts take place Thursday evenings, June 19 – August 28, and feature national, regional and local touring acts in a beautiful forum environment. Bring a blanket, picnic, spirits to imbibe and get your groove on with friends and neighbors.

June 21st:  Park City Trail Series-5K

This is the first of four races that make up the Park City Trail Series.  This series is designed for all levels of runners looking to get off the roads and on the trails.  We pride ourselves on well-done events and perfectly marked courses so even the most directionally challenged would never get lost. All racers get a signature pint glass with their registration. 

June 21st:  Olympic Day at Utah Olympic Park

An evening celebrating Olympians, Paralympians, and the Olympic spirit! This special evening will include a Big Air show, athlete appearances/autograph area, food, music, and activities.

June 21st:  Savor the Summit

On June 21, 2014 join Park City’s longest dining table during Savor the Summit’s The Grande Table event. One long dinner table graces the length of Main Street, allowing for over 1500 diners to join in the celebration of fabulous food, outdoor dining, live music and summer in the mountains.
