Park City Events | Aug. 31st-Sept. 6th, 2015
Labor day weekend is coming up and as usual Park City will have plenty of fun things going on around town. Hopefully we will get a few more weeks of warm summer weather before fall starts and we start thinking about skiing and boarding 🙂
Sept 1st: Hops on the Hill
Tuesday nights this summer are a lot more enticing at Stein Eriksen Lodge with its Hops on the Hill—an evening celebrating regional craft beer and free concerts. The Tuesday night Hops on the Hill Summer Series returns featuring tastings starting at 5 pm and a free concert at 6 pm.
Sept. 2nd: Farmers Market at Canyons Resort
Noon to 6pm at Canyons Resort
Sept 4th: Star Party 2015!
Please join us for our ever popular annual Star Party! The night will begin with a short presentation from USU physicist Mike Taylor about the Northern Lights and other mysteries of the night sky. Afterward, we will head outside to view deep space through telescopes with support from the Utah State University and University of Utah Physics Departments. This event will be held at the Swaner EcoCenter, but please come prepared to be outside in the chill fall evening air. Families and children are welcome, and please note that registration is required to attend
Sept. 5th: Canyons Free Summer Concerts
6pm Canyons Village
Sept. 5th: Park City Point 2 Point
The P2P is a true adventure style event, just like the old days of mountain bike racing. The course is a true point 2 point. Thanks to the plethora of trails, you will never be on the same trail twice. You will be riding singletrack for over 90% of the race (that’s a lot of 1-track) and the total distance is 75 miles with over 12,000′ of climbing
Enjoy your week!
