June 9th: A Waltz among the Wildflowers
Come enjoy the gorgeous wildflowers of early summer on the Swaner Preserve! Wildflower experts Jaydee Gunnell, Richard Anderson, and Jerry Goodspeed of the USU Botanical Center will be presenting about the range of high-altitude plants in the Swaner EcoCenter demonstration garden, as well as leading a short hike on the Preserve’s north side trail system. Terrain is variable and the trails are exposed.
June 10th: Farmers Market at Canyons Resort
Noon to 6pm at Canyons Resort
June 11th: Yoga Meets Art
On Thursday, June 11th experience a special vinyasa yoga class in the Kimball Art Center’s Main Gallery. Led by teachers Scott Moore & Katie Eldridge – with music from DJ Jesse Walker. Yoga meets art at the Kimball. Sign up in advance at kimballartcenter.org – or show up the day of: Thursday, June 11th at 6pm. Donate what you’d like – all proceeds go to the Kimball Art Center.
June 11th-14th: The Foreigner at Egyptian Theatre
A comedy by Larry Shue, based on what the NY Post describes as a “devilishly clever idea”. The play demonstrates what can happen when a group of devious characters must deal with a stranger who (they think) doesn’t understand English.
June 13th: Park City Library Grand Opening
The Grand Opening will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, followed by fun activities for kids, self-guided tours, films courtesy of the Park City Film Series and Sundance, plus so much more until 5pm!
