We had our first good snowfall in town this morning! The resorts are working hard to get everything ready for the start of the season here in a few weeks! Although its a slow time of year here in Park City there are still events around town to enjoy. Check out this week’s below:
Nov. 5th: 24th Annual Ski Affair
A celebration of all things snow sports, the 24th Annual Ski Affair is a fund-raiser for the University of Utah Marriott Library’s Ski Archives. The event draws 400+ skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and snow sport history enthusiasts. This year, local ski legends will be honored and a special tribute to the US Ski Team will commemorate its 40 years in Utah. Along with food stations, a cash bar and silent auction there will be vintage videos and an Opportunity Drawing for Rossignol ski and Park City Snow Cat packages for four valued at $9,000.
Date: Wednesday, November 5, 2014
Time: 6 p.m. reception and silent auction; 7 p.m. dinner
Location: Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main, Salt Lake City
Tickets: $70 individual, $1,500 for a reserved table for ten

Nov. 7th: Live PC Give PC

Nov. 7th: Wine, Cheese and Change
Enjoy “Wine, Cheese and Change” in the wine vault at St. Regis, Deer Valley. Learn wine and cheese pairing and savor five fine wines with hand selected artisan cheese and meats from around the world. Bring your loose change so we can contribute to Quarters for Christmas, an organization providing shoes for children. Cost is $50
