Park City Events | Sept. 28th-Oct. 4th, 2015
The days are getting shorter and the nights a bit cooler as we creep into October. We tend to slow down a bit in October around town. I love the fall. The pace around town slows up, the colors are beautiful and we still have great weather to hike and bike before winter really sets in. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones in town this week see below for this week’s events:
Sept. 30th: Farmers Market at Canyons Resort
Noon to 6pm at Canyons Resort
Oct. 1st: Park City Film Series – Project Wild Thing
David Bond is a filmmaker and a father. Things have really changed since he was a kid. His children are hooked on screens and don’t want to go outdoors. They want iPads, TV and plastic toys. The marketing departments of Apple, Disney and Mattel control his children better than he can. Determined to get them up and out, David appoints himself as the Marketing Director for Nature.
Oct. 1st-4th: THRILLER – Egyptian Theatre
Enjoy this THRILLING seasonal tradition with its ghoulish cast of characters, spooks, and zombies. It’s a gruesome dance of monsters and maniacs, creeps and clowns, at once mystifying, mesmerizing, and morbid. An annual tradition and always a sell-out! *Use parental discretion, as some images and characters are more frightening than others!
Oct. 3rd – 6th Annual Harvest Festival
The 6th Annual Harvest Festival will be Saturday, October 3rd from NOON – 5pm at the High Star Ranch in Kamas. The festival is free and open to the public. There will be dozens of vendors selling a dazzling array of local goods, you’re bound to admire the character, flavor, and creativity of the area. Don’t miss the Grand Opening of the DeJoria Center.
Enjoy your week!
