Fall is officially here in Park City! Combine that with the big news about Vail buying Park City Mountain Resort and we are ready to start skiing and snowboarding! Check out all of this week’s events below:
Sept. 24th: Park City Farmers Market at Canyons Resort
Each Wednesday, into the fall, Canyons will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00pm – 6:00pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors.
Sept. 25th: Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Four individuals whose contributions to skiing have dramatically enhanced winter sports in the Intermountain Area will be inducted into the Will and Jean Pickett Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at the USSA Center of Excellence.
Sept. 26th: Gallery Stroll
On the last Friday of each month, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., members of the Park City Gallery Association offer a unique showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits and art events. The Gallery Stroll is a free community event that gives locals and Park City visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring Park City’s exciting art scene.
Sept 26th-Oct. 4th: Thriller-By Odyssey Dance Theatre
Enjoy this THRILLING Halloween tradition with a ghoulish cast of characters, spooks, and zombies. It’s a ghoulish dance of monsters and maniacs, creeps and clowns, at once mystifying, mesmerizing, and morbid. An annual tradition and always a sell-out! *Use parental discretion, as some images and characters are more frightening than others! Tickets: *Youth (12 and under) $25/ Adults $35 and up Nightly at 7:30pm.
Sept. 27th: Scarecrow Festival at the McPolin Farm
Tickets must be purchased in advance at the PC MARC. Event Ticket: $40/ group of four. Tickets will not be sold day of the event. Non-event tickets are available for purchase at $30. Scarecrows for non-event tickets can be set up Friday September 26 after noon, or anytime after Saturday, September 27 at 5:00 pm. No advertising allowed on your scarecrow.Ticket includes: 3 pumpkins per group of 4, refreshments, 1 scarecrow.
