Park City Resort upgrades dining options!
Some of the $50 million dollars of resort improvements that Vail is making is going toward the on mountain dining experience.
The Red Pine Lodge is undergoing an expansion of 250 indoor seats. Red Pine Lodge is centrally located mid-mountain on the Canyons side of the resort, and has always been very busy during the peak lunch hours. The additional seating is a welcome improvement.
The photo above was taken recently and shows the new expansion space in the front. The roof line protruding above is where the space previously ended. As you can see the new space includes plenty of windows to allow in natural light and the ability to view the action on the mountain and in the lift lines while also experiencing the beautiful scenery.
Miner’s Camp is a brand new restaurant on the Park City side of the interconnect gondola, Quick Silver, and is also located at the base of the Silverlode Lift. This new restaurant will seat 500 indoors and will have a top-of-the-line kitchen. Plans suggest that the culinary experience will be a treat.
Here is a map of the new Park City resort showing the location of these two restaurants:
The positioning of these restaurants is smart for Vail. Miner’s Camp will provide dining on the Park City side of the interconnect, while the Red Pine Lodge expansion is a much needed space upgrade in an already popular location.
