Park City Utah Events

Another week of snow and sun.  I really enjoy spring in Park City.  You can ski powder and mountain bike in the same week.. pretty cool if you ask me!  See below for this week’s events around town:

April 29th-May 3rd:  Park City Follies

Our annual Romp-and-Stomp on all thing Park City: people, politics, events, and developments. A playful poke of the stick at the soft underbelly of our unique community.

April 29th-May 3rd:  Utah Wilderness 50 Photographic Exhibition

The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is pleased to announce a special exhibition called Utah Wilderness 50. This exhibit features 50 photographs that were selected through a juried process from more than 1,400 entries. All photos represent Utah public lands and reflect the spirit of the Wilderness Act of 1964. Additional activities for youth and adults: Utah Wilderness 50 Children’s Photographic Experience The film “The Wilderness Act: 50th Anniversary” showing in our Theater Room.

May 1st-3rd:  Park City Film Series – Misery Loves Comedy

Misery Loves Comedy explores the mind of the stand-up comic and all those who choose to write or perform comedy as a profession. Pollack uses interviews, day-in-the-life sequences, archival and historic footage and photos, observations, essays and insights to explore why a person gets on stage in front of a room full of strangers when, in fact, public speaking is all other Americans’ #1 fear, even above death.
