What a great week it was here in Park City, especially the past 4 days! The latest snowstorm came in on Thursday afternoon and it basically snowed on and off until yesterday evening. Snow totals at the resorts varied, but 10-34 inches fell throughout the Wasatch range. If you remember last week I was thinking 4-8 inch storm totals, sometimes its nice being wrong 🙂 The most interesting part of the latest storm was where the biggest storm totals came in from. Bench locations of the Salt Lake Valley and Ogden Valley reported 2-4 FEET of snow! Make sure to get out and enjoy the snow we got this week as it appears we are heading into an extended period of dry weather again. See below for this week’s Park City Utah Weather Forecast:
Sunday: COLD (Dress very warm!) Partly Cloudy with flurries. Afternoon high of 0 (yes ZERO for the high) morning lows around -12 below zero!
Monday: Not an exciting record to talk about but Monday AM could possibly be the coldest morning in about 20 years! Partly cloudy, Morning low around -25 below zero, afternoon high a balmy 5.
Tuesday: Sunny, morning low around -10 below zero, afternoon high finally warming up a bit to around 20.
Wednesday: Sunny, morning low around 0, afternoon high around 30.
Thursday: Sunny, morning low around 10, afternoon high around 32.
Friday: Sunny, morning low around 15, afternoon high around 35.
Saturday: Sunny, morning low around 15, afternoon high around 35.
Stay warm and hang in there for a couple more days, things will warm up by the middle of the week.
Think snow!
