Happy President’s weekend. We have had great snow around the resorts over the past couple weeks. If you are in town this week and need a break from skiing take a look at some events in Park City. Full details below:
Feb. 13th – Park City Film Series – Last Call at the Oasis
The global water crisis will be the central issue facing our world this century. We can manage this problem, but only if we are willing to act now. Last Call at the Oasis is a powerful new documentary that shatters myths behind our most precious resource. Part of the Reel Community Series. Free screening.
Feb. 14th – Full Moon Round Valley Romp
An evening of Nordic skiing and snowshoeing under the full moon, ending with food, beverages and a cozy bonfire. $25 per person.
Feb. 14th-15th – An Evening with Duncan Sheik
Duncan Sheik is a Grammy Award and two-time Tony Award winning singer-songwriter and composer. As a solo artist, his Atlantic Records debut spawned the ubiquitous hit “Barely Breathing” which spent 55 weeks on the Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart and propelled the sales to 750,000 copies. Audiences can expect a little bit of everything from Duncan Sheik.
Feb. 15th – Celtic Nights
Six of Ireland’s most accomplished dancers join forces with six of the Emerald Isle’s finest voices in a gloriously entertaining and genuine Celtic show. Thundering step dancing feet and sweet ballads intertwine in a lively and glorious production – the latest show to come from the creators of the “unmissable” (The Guardian) show, Gaelforce Dance.
Enjoy your week and think snow,
Craig
