We have a fair amount of rain around early this week. I know all of us locals are enjoying the cool weather after some rather warm and dry weeks for our standards. Don’t let the rainy weather get you down though, there are still plenty of fun things to do around town
July 29th: Hops on the Hill at Stein Eriksen Lodge
Join us on Tuesday evenings this July & August, for a Utah craft beer & food tasting on the Flagstaff Deck. Guests must be 21+ to attend the event. Full Tasting Tickets are $35 in advance plus tax ($40 at door). Reservations may be made by calling 435-645-6455. Ticket price includes beer samples, food, and souvenir glass. Non-alcoholic tickets available for purchase at the door. 5:00 pm
July 30th: Deer Valley Concert Series-Tony Holiday&The Velvetones
ENDORSED BY SHAKER HARMONICA MICS! www.shakermicrophones.net and WINNER OF 2012 GORILLA MUSIC BATTLE OF THE BANDS-Tony Holiday and The Velvetones are full of blues goodness with a bit of a southern rock flare. They’re definitely impressive; Tony and his band will leave the crowd wanting more after each show. The skill of each musician is incredible.
July 30th: Park City Farmers Market at Canyons Resort
Each Wednesday, into the fall, Canyons will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00pm – 6:00pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors.
July 31st: Newpark Concert Series – Ryan Hiller
Newpark Amphitheater is located in the heart of Newpark Town Center and is surrounded by several restaurants, retail shops & the pristine Swaner Nature Preserve. These community concerts take place Thursday evenings, June 19 – August 28, and feature national, regional and local touring acts in a beautiful forum environment. Bring a blanket, picnic, spirits to imbibe and get your groove on with friends and neighbors.
Aug. 1st & 2nd: Egyptian Theatre Comedy
With Headliners Dave Goldstein & Maria Shehata. Cool off after Arts Fest with a chilled beverage and some feisty laughs. Comedy is a priceless art form, so stay on Main Street and appreciate it like an aficionado!
Aug. 1st-3rd: 45th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival
Held on Historic Main Street and featuring over 200 exhibiting artists in 12 categories, live bands on three stages, wine and beer gardens, kids art area, live art demonstrations, Utah Food Artisan tasting and more.
Aug. 2nd: Canyons Concert Series – Honey Island Swamp Band
Canyons will once again have our amazing and FREE Saturday Summer Concert Series. Each Saturday, beginning July 19th and ending August 30th, Canyons will have FREE live music starting at 6:00pm. The Cabriolet and Waldorf gondola will be open Saturdays at 4:00pm. Blankets, picnics and chairs will not be allowed in the concert venue until 4:00pm. Dogs are not allowed in the Ski Beach concert venue.
