Sept 7th: Park City Farmers’ Market at Canyons Village
Each Wednesday, Canyons Village at Park City will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors. We expect the Farmers’ Market to run from June 1, 2016 into mid-late October, depending on weather and the growing season.
Sept 10th: Hike for Hunger
The Christian Center of Park City’s annual “HIKE FOR HUNGER” event helps raise awareness about hunger issues in our community. This fun, family-friendly (non-competitive) event is hosted at Snow Park Lodge and admission includes: • chairlift ride up to amazing hikes in Deer Valley. • delicious food (Prepared by Deer Valley, donated by Nicholas & Company) • drinks (beer from Park City Brewery & wine from Joel Gott Wine) • bouncy houses • live music by “Motherlode Canyon Band” • face painting • shirt **NEW THIS YEAR– new trail, new music, new shirts, Everyone has 3 fun options • Take Silver Lake Express Chairlift up and hike a moderate 2 mile loop (Red Cloud trail down to Team Big Bear trail) and take the chairlift back down to Snow Park Lodge • Take Silver Lake Express Chairlift up and hike the moderate down-hill “Mid-Mountain Extension” to “Deer Crest” trails back down to Snow Park Lodge (about 3 miles) • Don’t want to hike? Enjoy a round-trip “joy ride” on the Silver Lake Express Chairlift • 1:30—3:00 pm = Check-in and start! Sept 11th: Park Silly Sunday Market
The Park Silly Sunday Market is an eco friendly, open-air market and street festival. It is a treasure box that features unique and eclectic-local and regional arts and crafts, music and performance art, antiques, imports and one-of-a-kind finds, delicious gourmet foods, and farmers market fruits and vegetables. It is as unique as it’s town is.
