Park City Events | September 8th-14th, 2014
We are starting out this week on a rainy and cool note. The weather is really making us start to get excited about the upcoming ski season! Although events around town slow up this time of year we still have some fun events to go and enjoy. See below for this week’s list:
Sept. 9th: Moon Shine Party – Swaner Eco Center
Join us on September 9th, when the Summit Land Conservancy and Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter will host a joint fundraising event. The Moon Shine Party, to be held on the night of a full moon, will illuminate the beauty of nature and the importance of water. Buy your tickets by following this link (http://moonshineparty.bpt.me/), this will be a night to remember! Runs from 5pm-9pm
Sept. 10th: Park City Farmers Market at Canyons Resort
Each Wednesday, into the fall, Canyons will once again host Park City’s Farmers’ Market from 12:00pm – 6:00pm in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors.
Sept. 12th-20th: The Producers – Egyptian Theatre
The Producers is a musical production adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks’ 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics written by Brooks and music composed by Brooks and arranged by Glen Kelly and Doug Besterman. As in the film, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop.
Sept. 13th: Miss Kitty’s Barking Ball
Please support Friends of Animals Utah in its mission of animal rescue and adoption (Furburbia) by joining us at Miss Kitty’s Barking Ball on September 13th. Mark your calendar for this celebration filled with friends, fun and an incredible array of silent and live auction items. You may also want to consider making an auction donation or a sponsorship opportunity.
Enjoy your week!
