Fall day at Park City Mountain Resort

By

I was able to sneak away from the office last week for a couple hours to enjoy one of the last warm fall days in Park City.  We tend to forget as locals how many fun activities we have around town even in the fall.  Thus we decided to go do the Alpine Coaster and Alpine Slide at Park City Mountain Resort.

Looking up as we board the Alpine Coaster

First up was the Alpine Coaster.  Many of us have had a chance to ride roller coasters at amusement parks but riding one down a mountain?  Now that is a unique experience!  The Alpine coaster at Park City Mountain Resort is open both for summer operations and winter operations. Thus if you need to take a day off of skiing or boarding to rest the legs, check out the Alpine Coaster.  To learn more about Park City Mountain Resort’s Alpine Coaster click here.

After having a great time on the Alpine Coaster we decided to take the Payday lift up to enjoy the incredible falls colors and take a ride down the Alpine Slide.  The Alpine Slide is an incredible time as well!

Looking down the Alpine slide, ready to go!

Getting the snow guns ready

As we were leaving the resort we noticed that the mountain operations team was testing out the snow guns in preparation of starting to blow snow.  From a distance it almost looks like snow coming from the guns.  However, at 68 degrees there was no snow to be found just a fine mist coming from the guns.  I left the resort thinking how lucky we are here in Park City that I can take a long lunch break and have such a great time with all the local attractions to be had. If you have any additional questions on these activities or questions regarding real estate in the greater Park City area contact us today!

Take Care,

Craig
