Things are quieting down around town.  Canyons Resort closed this past Sunday and Park City Mountain Resort closed up this upcoming Sunday.  If you are in town for the last week of the ski season see below for this week’s activities:

Apr. 17th-18th:  Canned Heat – 50th Anniversary Tour

A unique blend of modern electric blues, rock, and boogie which influenced many aspiring guitarists and bands throughout the history of modern American music. Top-40 songs “On The Road Again”, “Let’s Work Together”, and “Going Up The Country” became rock anthems throughout the world!

Apr. 17th-19th:  Park City Film Series – 71

This is a tense, exciting and very well-made action film about a young British soldier caught out of his depth on the mean streets of Belfast in Northern Ireland in the early years of the Troubles. He finds himself accidentally abandoned by his unit following a riot in 1971. Unable to tell friend from foe, and increasingly wary of his own comrades, the raw recruit must survive the night alone and find his way to safety

April 18th:  An Evening with Neil Gaiman

Bestselling and award-winning author Neil Gaiman comes to The Eccles Center on Saturday, April 18. A creative genius and master storyteller, Gaiman mesmerizes – and inspires – his audience on both the page and the stage. Park City Institute’s An Evening with Neil Gaiman begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 435-655-3114 or online at EcclesCenter.org.
