This is it folks! Last weekend the resorts are open in Park City. As I am typing this we have a rain/snow mix falling around town depending on your elevation. Snow looks to come in later today and it looks like closing day at the resorts will be a powder day! Couple items to address:
1.) This is my last Park City Utah Weather Forecast of the season. That being said Snowbird Resort will be open until May 27th, 2013 pending weather. If we have any big storms on the horizon I will do a storm specific update in case anyone is craving a Snowbird powder day in May.
2.) Outside of the occasional updates I will not be doing weekly updates until summer comes around. Thus check back around June 1st for our weekly summer forecasts.
Here is what this weekend will bring weather wise:
Saturday: Showers in town, snow showers above 8,000 to start of the day. Snow levels dropping by evening. Snow totals 2-4 inches tonight. Morning low around 30 and afternoon high in the low 40’s.
Sunday (Closing Day): Snow showers possible in the morning, otherwise mostly cloudy. Low around 15 and afternoon high around 30.
Look forward to seeing you all out this way this summer, until then.. Think Snow!
