Utah Olympic Park Hike | Family Time Park City Style
Looking for something to do with the kiddos that involves clean air, outdoors, and getting the heart rate up a little? Then take the crew for a mini trek on the Utah Olympic Park hike. This trail which is also called RTF is located in Kimball Junction just below the Utah Olympic Park. You will find the trail access from a gravel parking lot on the right as you head up to the Olympic Park facility. The gravel lot leads to a beginner hike that is approximately a 2.5 mile loop. This is a great trail for little ones to explore as there is not a lot of elevation change, and no strenuous or difficult portions on this trail. You have shade provided by groupings of aspens, open fields with tall grass, and views of the Utah Olympic Park facility with the Wasatch Mountains in the background. All this as you walk along the trail with random formations of wild yellow and purple meadow flowers and the smell of pine in the air. This trail is easy to access and located off Olympic Parkway across from the Newpark Resort & Redstone communities in Kimball Junction.
