Weekly Events in Park City, Utah | Jan. 14th – 20th

Although its been cold outside things are really starting to heat up events wise in Park City!  Sundance film festival starts this Thursday and extends into the following week.  If you have never been out for the film festival you should make it a point to check out.  Take a look at our Sundance Blog we posted a couple days ago for some movie ideas.  Check out below for the rest of this week’s Weekly Events in Park City, Utah:

January 17th -27th – (Sundance Film Festival)

Robert Redford’s annual Sundance Film Festival is scheduled for January 17-27, 2013.  Celebrating independent filmmakers, Sundance is a favorite Park City tradition for locals, visitors and celebrities.  Each year, the Sundance Film Festival team reviews thousands of independent films from all across the world.

January 17th – (Powder Champagne Ice Lounge)

For the winter season, Waldorf Astoria Park City will be featuring the Powder Champagne Ice Lounge. This outdoor lounge will include a 14 foot fully sculpted ice bar as well as sculpted furniture. In addition, there will be a separate heated zone for socializing. The Ice Lounge will primarily serve Champagne by the bottle and glass, while all specialty cocktails will be served inside at Powder’s main bar. Live music will take place in the Ice Lounge every Thursday evening!

As you can see, kind of a light week for additional activities outside of the film festival.  Enjoy the week and go see a movie!
