Things played out very much as I expected them too last week. The first storm was basically a dud although resorts did pick up 4-8 inches on Wednesday and Wednesday night in a strong northwest flow. Yesterday’s storm came though with quite the punch. Snowfall rates of 2 inches per hour and winds pushing 70 mph made for a great day of storm skiing! Totals from yesterday’s storm ranged from 6-24 inches. Today is bluebird so the resorts are packed but conditions I suspect are top notch. Take look at this week’s ‘Park City Utah Weather Forecast’ to see if we have more snow coming in this week:
Sunday: Clearing through out the day. Morning low around 10 and afternoon high around 15.
Monday: Increasing clouds. Morning low around 0 and afternoon high around 20.
Tuesday: Snow, mainly in the morning then cloudy. Morning low around 5 and afternoon high around 15. Monday Night – Tuesday Morning storm totals around 3-6″ inches.
Wednesday: Sunny. Cold morning around -5 but warming up nicely to around 20 in the afternoon.
Thursday: Sunny. Morning low around 5 and afternoon high around 25.
Friday: Sunny. Morning low around 10 and afternoon high around 30.
Saturday: Sunny. Morning low around 15 and afternoon high around 35.
Enjoy the snow on Tuesday and then get ready for some great spring skiing weather!
